Petroleum policy across North Sea countries

In a new report, Vista Analyse have reviewed the political and regulatory framework for oil and gas production in the five countries by the North Sea. The project was completed on behalf of the organization Oil Change International.

The oil and gas producing countries by the North Sea are Norway, the United Kingdom, Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany. For these countries, we describe current laws and policies regarding exploration and licensing, climate policy in the petroleum sector, environmental regulations, policies for decommissioning, taxation of oil and gas production, and whether policies have been implemented for a just trasition from the oil and gas sector to new industries.
