Agriculture and the food sector are key industries from a regional and security perspective, which poses both great challenges and great opportunities. Vista Analyse evaluates funding, considers climate and environmental effects and analyses competitive conditions for the industry. We have also considered the effects of climate change on forestry, and the estimated economic impacts of reforestation. We have assessed the effect of subsidies for organic foods, and how climate change affects food production. We have also looked closely at the competition in the grocery sector and considered the question of whether an official pricing portal will promote or hinder competition.
