Dag Morten Dalen is a Professor of Economics at BI Norwegian Business School, with research interests related to economic regulation of markets, international outsourcing, as well as management and financing of public services. In addition to both theory development and empirical research in these areas, Dalen has extensive experience with different projects and consultancy assignments for public administration and private companies.

In the period 2010-2018, Dalen was pro-rector at BI Norwegian Business School, responsible for the field of education.

Dalen is currently a board member of Nye Veier.
