Sarah is an economist with a master's degree from the University of Oslo and a bachelor's degree in political economy from the University of Bergen. In Vista Analysis, Sarah has taken part in projects within renewable energy, energy efficiency, impact assessments for business and regional development. In the evaluation of Samfunnsløftet for Sparebank 1 Nord-Norge, Sarah is responsible for the quantitative analysis. She has also been responsible for data collection, processing, and analysis of data in several other projects.
Sarah wrote an empirical master's thesis where she used a difference-in-difference model and event study design to investigate the relationship between the installation of fast chargers and electric car share at the municipal level. Through her work on her master's thesis, she has acquired good knowledge of the market for electric cars and electric car chargers, data collection and processing, econometric models, and GIS.
During her master's studies, Sarah has worked part-time as a junior analyst in the department of business development and analysis at Veidekke ASA. In this position, she has mainly worked with analyses of the Scandinavian building and construction market, and the new housing market in Norway and Sweden. She has also conducted an analysis of how the need for reconstruction in Ukraine will affect the Scandinavian construction market. The analysis has been presented internally to Veidekke's corporate management team, and later in a seminar organised by DNB markets.
