The use of information technology and the digitalization of society is transforming both society and the economy. Digitalization is about using technology to innovate, simplify and improve, which again paves the way for increased value creation and innovation. This opens up many new opportunities, but also poses some challenges for the public and private sectors, as well as for most people. Vista Analyse is exceptionally well positioned to analyse and understand this transformation and its implications for the organization of society and how society best should organize in order to gain as much as possible from this transformation. We consider the economic effects of information solutions and digitalization in the public and private sectors, we study pricing strategies, we analyse the correlation between information technology/digitization and innovation, and we also analyse the relationship between digitization and the green shift. Resent research findings include the development of methodology for the socio-economic analysis of common database solutions, pricing strategies for public mapping and property data, and socio-economic cost-benefit assessments of digitization solutions in different sectors and organizations. Vista Analyse has a framework agreement with the Agency for Public Management and eGovernment (Difi) on economic analyses in the field of technology.
