RENEWSM project: Exchange of experience in the field of renewable energy
Oslo, 24.10.2023
Between 10 and 12 October, Vista Analyse organized a workshop on energy efficiency and renewable energy. The workshop was organized in cooperation with the Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association as part of the RENEWSM project on renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security in the Satu Mare region of Romania. The project is financed through the EEA and Norway Grants.
Haakon Vennemo, Leif Grandum and Sarah Eidsmo from Vista Analyse led the workshop. In addition to theoretical presentations and discussions, the workshop also included several field trips to present examples of good practice in renewable energy and energy efficiency. The delegation from Romania visited Deichman Bjørvika – a building that excels in energy efficiency; Vulkan Oslo - which is constantly working to find new solutions for energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources; and the VEAS plant/Hoop CO2 – where biogas is produced from wastewater and they have initiated a project to reuse CO2 from biogas production.
The entire project will be documented in a written report that will be completed and published on the website by the end of the year.
