Vista Analysis has evaluated the performance of Nordic Development Fund

Vista Analysis has evaluated the performance of Nordic Development Fund (NDF) under its new climate mandate. We find that NDF has fulfilled all the main goals set by the Board in 2009. NDF is facilitating greater investments to address climate change in developing countries. Grants provided by NDF have in a number of cases contributed to making loans or grants possible from multilateral development banks than otherwise would have been the case. Another important finding is that project approval time is relatively short compared to other financing sources. The report NDF newsletter
