Vista-report on the APEC list of Environmental Goods is launched in Geneva

In a study commissioned by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vista Analysis has analysed the content and precision level of the APEC list for trade liberalization in environmental goods. The report notes that most of the product categories on the list contains environmental as well as non-environmental goods, and that a more precise use of product specifications (ex-outs) is often needed in order to ensure that the list in a precise manner targets environmental goods. The study was launched at a meeting for trade delegates in Geneva 20 March, hosted by the Norwegian Permanent Mission in Geneva.
