Energy efficiency and renewables in Romania

Green transition is a goal for all EU countries. The Satu Mare region in northwestern Romania has recently signed an agreement with Vista Analyse to analyse the potential for energy efficiency and new renewable energy in the region. The agreement is part of RENEWSM, a project to increase knowledge about renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security in Satu Mare, supported by the EEA grants.

Vista's task is to investigate the potential of new renewable energy. We will also hold courses on the potential for the authorities in Satu Mare, and organize a training course in Norway for experts and decision-makers from Romania.
