More than 100,000 businesses from all sectors of society are currently being sent an emailed survey on economic crime. Vista Analyse is conducting the survey on behalf of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, and it seeks to capture the extent of economic crime targeting public and private businesses.
The survey deals with businesses' exposure to various types of economic crime, such as fraud, corruption and data breaches, consequences of offences and preventive measures taken. Economic crime is a major social problem, a threat to the economy and the amount of unreported crimes are high. The results of the survey will be used to create new and better policies in this area. We hope that many will respond to the survey, both small and large businesses, and also those who have not experienced offences.
